The selected applicants will be required to undergo one year orientation course training in any of the Nuclear Training Centres of NPCIL at Tarapur, Rawatbhata, Kalpakkam, Kaiga and Kudankulam. For successful completion of training, the applicants have to secure minimum 50% aggregate marks on completion of one year training.

Those trainees, who complete the one year orientation course training successfully will be appointed as Scientific Officer and posted at one of the units/sites/offices of NPCIL located at different parts of the country. The present locations include the following :

Headquarters at Mumbai (Maharashtra), Units/Sites at Tarapur (Maharashtra), Kakrapar (Gujarat), Rawatbhata (Rajasthan), Narora (Uttar Pradesh), Kaiga (Karnataka), Kalpakkam (Tamil Nadu), Kudankulam( Tamil Nadu), other upcoming projects and other offices located at various places.
